The new Boys' Brigade session in Helensburgh starts on August 23
THE new session for Helensburgh’s Boys’ Brigade starts at Helensburgh Parish Church halls this month.
The opening night of the session will be a games night on Wednesday, August 23 at 7pm, to which all boys of school age are welcome.
Thereafter meetings are regularly on Wednesday evenings in the halls by age group as follows: Anchor Boys (ages 5-7) from 6.30-7.30pm; Junior Section (ages 8-10) from 6.30-7.30pm; Company Section (ages 11-19) from 7.30-9.30pm.
The local BB company is also offering volunteering opportunities as it hopes to attract new leaders - not only adults, but also young people who, for example, might be doing the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme.
