On the promenade 14 concrete pours have taken place, taking the concrete slabs up to the end of the central entrance. ‘Play boulders’ have also arrived on site and are waiting to be placed whilst turfing is still ongoing.
In the north of Colquhoun Square, paving and grouting are ongoing around the pavement path and the perimeter road. Paving is also ongoing in the north east corner whilst slot drains are being installed to the north road.
Bollard placement and kerbing around the perimeter road is ongoing and the temporary road is now tarred to allow the paving to commence in the central section.
In West Princes Street, and Colquhoun Square to Sinclair Street, kerbing to the north carriageway is complete whilst paving and grouting to the north carriageway, parking bays, and pavements is ongoing, as is drainage to the north carriageway.
At West Princes Street south, the footway at James Street and the post office, kerbing, and drainage is complete, with paving is ‘mostly complete’. However, there is still some patching around columns to be done.
At the James Street and West Princes Street interchange all areas have been grouted and are now finished.
