Drew took-up the challenge with the icy water from the River Clyde in aid of McMillan, a charity close to his heart.
The Balloch man was nominated by several members of his workforce and his ‘good friend’ John Murphy.
Drew added: “I was doing ok till I realised it was filthy seawater from the Clyde, hence my expression.
“But it’s for a cause close to me as Macmillan nurses looked after my Mother until her death in 2012.
“Plus I’m sure there a few more people who would have liked to have pulled the lever?” THE meeting of Luss and Arden Community Council will take place tonight.
Community councillors will discuss a variety of issues at the meeting, which takes place at 7.30pm in Luss Village Hall.
