The school enlisted the help of the pupil council to come up with ideas as to what they wanted in the playground.
And the Parent Council fundraised throughout the year to raise cash for the adventure trail.
All pupils enjoyed using the playground when they returned for the new term and took pride in being able to see their ideas in real-life.
Carolyn Randall, head teacher, told the Advertiser: “John Logie Baird Primary School is delighted with their new Adventure Trail which was installed for the start of the new term.
“The children were all consulted about what equipment they would like to have and the Pupil Council pictured in the photograph helped make the final decision.
“The school would like to thank the Parent Council for running events to help raise funds for the trail.”
