Anthony Stewart, 26, was due to be sentenced for a disturbance where he challenged the cops and others to engage in a fight on June 19 this year while on the footpath next to East King Street. He also shouted and swore during the incident.
Stewart was appearing back at the Dumbarton Sheriff Court last week to discover his fate.
He was also due to be sentenced for a breach of the peace offence committed on October 6 at his home address in Park Crescent, Dumbarton. On that occasion Stewart shouted, swore and refused to leave. He was on bail at the time of that incident.
However, Sheriff Simon Pender heard that a social work report that had previously been called for was not yet available.
Sentence was further deferred until December 27.
