On Saturday, December 20, customers and friends gathered at the post office thank Margaret Shutt for her service, which she began in 1987.
Jean Gaughan said: “Her dedication to her job and her friendly help and assistance to everyone will be greatly missed by all within the community. Hopefully now she will be able to spend more time in her garden and visiting her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thank you Margaret and good luck for the future.”
