Using the hashtag #commanderchat, local people will have the opportunity to get immediate answers to any questions around the proposed restructuring of K and L police divisions which aim to strengthen local policing.
Chief Superintendent Helen Swann and Chief Superintendent Jim Downie will both be available to respond to questions on Twitter as part of the public consultation exercise.
The Twitter chat can be followed on the local channels, @renfrewinverpol and @abutewestdunbarpol.
The Twitter chat will take place on Monday, March 30 between 4pm and 5pm.
