Joanna Peebles, regional communities manager, outlined the upcoming programme of works to be undertaken by Scottish Water in the Helensburgh and Lomond area.

During her presentation, Joanna highlighted that Scottish Water had new teams in place who will work with local authorities to reduce the timescale for applications.

Several flooding issues were also raised, including in Rhu, Claddoch, and ongoing flooding problems on West Clyde Street.

Councillor Gary Mulvaney, chairman of the planning group, said the flooding issue on West Clyde Street was in the process of being addressed and work was scheduled to remediate the issue.

A freephone number is now in place for anybody to raise concerns about flooding issues at 08000778778.
