A GARELOCHHEAD man spat on another man and tried to punch and bite him on the body.
Kevin Elliot had previously been found guilty of carrying out the assault at Feorlin Way on September 14 last year. The 25-year-old was also convicted of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner by shouting, swearing, and acting in an aggressive manner, also at Feorlin Way.
Roddy Boag, defending, told Dumbarton Sheriff Court last week there were no other outstanding court matters for Elliot, of Main Street, who had been found guilty following a trial. He said: “This is a very nasty incident. It seems to have been a completely random incident. He appears before the court with a trouble-free record.” Sheriff Simon Pender ordered Elliot to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within nine months.
