Alexander McAuslan, 70, posed as photographer for an advertising agency and met his victim in Costa coffee, Helensburgh, before luring her back to his home at Hannah Place, Renton.
He then tied her up, taped her mouth, and tried to pull blacked-out goggles over her face in order to scare her and take pictures for his website called 'Women in Peril’ on May 2 last year.
McAulsan appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Thursday, July 16, but his sentence was put off again for a psychiatric report to be completed.
The sentencing was postponed last month for the medical report to be prepared.
At a previous hearing after McAuslan pleaded guilty to the charges Sheriff Hendry said the attack was amongst the most sinister cases he had dealt with in his 35-year career.
McAuslan is now due to be sentenced on August 6.
