THERE have been reported sightings of the stricken whale in the Gareloch.
The mammal, which is the subject of a massive rescue attempt, was allegedly seen by employees of the Faslane naval base yesterday (Thursday).
It is believed that the 16ft bottlenose whale swam further up the Clyde into the waters of the Gareloch after it was spotted earlier on Monday in Glasgow city centre.
Fears are growing for the safety of the whale, as some experts think it may not survive.
