NEW life for the former Helensburgh nightclub BJ's could include a youth cafe.
Helensburgh youth activist Kirsteen Fraser is hoping to establish a youth action group in the town and to tackle the lack of facilities for young people between the ages of 13 and 21.
Kirsteen, 21, who lives in Guy Mannering Road in Colgrain, is hoping to establish the Helensburgh and Lomond Youth Action Group and to find a central site in the town where young people can meet to socialise and the former nightclub BJ's on East Clyde Street is a possible site.
She says: "Too often young people are seen as the problem when they are part of the solution we want to work to change that.

I THINK THIS VENTURE WOULD BE A GOOD THING FOR HELENSBURGH, THEIR IS NOTHING FOR THE YOUTH THESE DAYS IN HELENSBURGH AND LOMOND AND A YOUTH CAFE WOULD BE AN IDEAL THINK AND WOULD LOVE TO BE INVOLVED
