FREE and confidential chylamydia tests will be on offer in the Clyde bar tomorrow night (Friday February 11).
Health promotion specialist for the Terrence Higgins Trust Scotland, Michael Harkin, said the organisation has been asked to carry out the free and confidential tests at a special night the Clyde is hosting from 8pm - called Wee for a Wii.
A drag act entitled Cheri Treiffel are set to perform, as are comedians Graham Mackie, Viv Gee and John Purves.
There will be a free prize draw on the night where you could win great prizes including a wii.
Michael explained the need for testing for the infection.
"One in 10 men under 25 are infected with chlamydia and many of these men are unaware that they have it.
"Long term un-diagnosed chlamydia can lead to a series of health related conditions later in life, including infertility problems and arthritis.
"We are looking to test males who are 25 and under and the procedure is as simple as urinating in a bottle. We will do the rest.
"If the test is positive the young man will be contacted by a method of his choice. This can be done by letter, text message, telephone or e-mail. All this is done in a highly sensitive confidential way. We ask for a name, contact and age; no details of address are required."
