The police were called to a disturbance in Jutland Court.

Details have emerged of a horror incident in the Burgh - during which a man is believed to have been attacked with an axe.

An assault happened at an address in Jutland Court, in Ardencaple, in the early hours of Saturday February 6, according to police.

And a witness told the Advertiser about the terrifying scene, at which the man - who has not been identified - was thought to have been injured after a rumpus in a hallway of a property in the block.

The Advertiser was told by a source, who wants to remain anonymous, about the incident.
