Petra and Iain leave the church in Rosneath

Popular Advertiser photographer, Petra Boyce, was on the other side of the lens on Saturday when she wed her long time sweetheart, Captain Iain Ross.

Petra and Iain, who is the youngest son of Colonel and Mrs Donald Ross, met when they were both pupils at Lomond School.

The happy couple were married at St Modan's Church, Rosneath by the Rev Richard West and received their guests at the Royal Northern and Clyde Yacht Club at Rhu.

Some of Captain Ross' military friends provided the traditional guard of honour as the newlyweds left the church.
