Scott Angus, a barber at Scottia Barbers, will treat bearded beauties and moustache loving-men to a tight trim if they are raising money for testicular cancer as part of the month-long Movember campaign.

The 38-year-old said: “I just wanted to help out other guys taking part in Movember. It is starting to get to the time in the month when men may be needing a trim, and they are best to get in done by a professional, so I wanted to offer my services to people trying to raise cash for charity until the end of the month. I have raised about £100 so far and I hope more people will come into the store to dontate money.” Scott is taking part in the month long event and he has opted to grow a full set of side-burns and moustache.

He added: “It’s odd the attention you receive for having facial hair, people have stopped me in the street to comment on it and someone even asked me if they could stroke my beard.

“I hope the event raises some cash to fight cancer but I also hope it raises awareness of testicular cancer.” Movember charity fundriasers are welcome to drop into the 76 West Princes Street premises for a trim, and the public are welcome to stop by and chip-in too.
