Children at Funky Wee Monkeys, held on Mondays in Helensburgh’s Masonic Hall, masked their faces and took up the role of heroic saviours for a fundraising event on November 10.
The superheroes played games including a Batman and Robin relay race, Spider-Man statues, and danced to the Superman Song. There were prizes for those who took part as well as cakes, balloons and a Pudsey piñata which was created especially for the party.
Julie Smith, creator of Funky Wee Monkeys, said: “Thank you to everyone who came along to support Children In Need, our Funky wee monkeys had a fantastic time and lots of money was raised.” Julie is also hosting the Santa Dash warm up in Helensburgh this year on Sunday, November 30 in Colquhoun Square. Bookings for the Santa dash are via the Round table website.
