Any Celtic fan worth their salt knows hell hath no fury like Scott Brown scorned, yet one brave Rangers supporter made the bold decision to invoke that fury.

Clubber Rory Robertson approached the Hoops captain in Saint Judes bar in Bath Street at the weekend for what the 31-year-old thought would be a standard selfie with an admirer.

However, little did the midfielder know that Rory - a die-hard Gers fan in disguise - was actually making a video.

As Scott stood smiling, Rory, 18, shouted, “We are the people,” a well-known phrase used by Rangers fans as a clear statement of loyalty and devotion to the club.

Scott’s smile quickly turns into a scowl as he looks at Rory with utter disgust. If looks could kill...

Rory - who describes himself as “Rangers through and through” - posted the four-second video clip onto his Twitter page, captioning it: “Scott Brown wears make up.”

In just two days, it’s received over 3,500 likes and close to 2,000 retweets.

Rory told one of his followers that, after he shouted the phrase, Scott “took my phone off me and tried to delete it.”

“You have just jumped ahead of McCoist, Gazza, and Laudrup as my f****n all time hero son. Take a bow!!!!” said one Twitter user, while another added: “He’s f*****g raging."

Another supporter of the bold move claimed: “Surprised he didn’t slide tackle you! Ill show this to his Dad in the morning! His Dad will love it given he’s a Rangers fan,” while another said: “Oft mate you got closer to him that any other rangers players this season fair play.”
