Dozens of building contractors have donned their Christmas best and made their way to foodbanks with much-needed supplies in time for the big day next week.
Twenty-five workers from McDermott Group dressed as Santa before delivering money, food, and gifts to children and families in need across the city.

A fleet of 13 McDermott Group vans set off from the company’s central Glasgow offices at Elmbank Street on Wednesday morning to deliver the much-needed gifts to the Trussell Trust’s foodbanks in Scotstoun and Greenock.

National charity Action for Children’s local services for disadvantaged children in Greenock and Glasgow City Centre will also benefit from the donations.
In total, the company is donating more than £3,000 in cash, food, and gifts to help vulnerable people in Glasgow and Inverclyde this festive season.
