HELENSBURGH swimmer Eve Thompson looks to be going from strength to strength after two medal-winning performances at the British University Finals in Sheffield.
Eve was selected as part of an eight-strong Stirling University team which included Rio 2016 bound Craig Benson and Duncan Scott for the national final, and she was not fazed by the occasion and picked up two bronze medals for her team.
The top 10 teams in Britain competed to win the championship and Stirling went in to the final in fourth position.
Former Hermitage Academy pupil Eve competed in the 50m and 100m breaststroke, finishing third in both, her first British bronze medals.
When all the points were added up Stirling had secured an overall third place behind renowned swimming programmes Loughborough and Bath.
At 17, Eve was the youngest competitor on the team.
