Rhu Amateurs 3 Hamiton FP's 0 Rhu Amateurs continued their recent good form against a Hamilton team still with a chance of promotion.

From the start Rhu took the game to their opponents and got the opener after 12 minutes when Graeme McCallum closed down the keeper and got the break of the ball to score the opener.

Rhu were well on top and made it two after 20 minutes when David Holburn 's cross from the right was headed back across goal by Gary Stillwell and McCallum made sure for his second of the day.

Rhu didn't have ,long to wait for the third as Adam McCulloch was first to react to a clearance from Rhu keeper Grindlay and found himself through in goal and he made no mistake.

The second half was to be the opposite of the first half as hamilton began to dominate play. The visitors were having most of the play without making too many chances. Rhu were happy to sit in and protect their lead as hamilton tried to get back in the game but rhu's defence stood firm and they came out as deserved winners.
