A HOST of local football teams travelled to Rhu to take part in the Toyota tournament hosted by Helensburgh club Ardencaple FC on Saturday.
Clubs entered teams at 2007, 2010 and 2011 age groups, and those taking part included Ardencaple, Helensburgh, Dumbarton Riverside, Erskine, Renton Craigandro, Glentyan and Singer.
Celtic scout Charlie McGarvey was on hand to keep an eye on some of the performances on the day. Leona Barclay from Helensburgh Motors handed out the medals to all participants alongside Ardencaple FC chairman Craig Holborn.
Mr Holborn said: “Ardencaple would like to thank Stewart Fisher for organising a great day of football. Thanks also Helensburgh Motors who have sponsored this tournament for the sixth year running.
“It was great to see football played in the right way and in the right spirit, all of the teams were a credit to their clubs and we look forward to welcoming them back next year.”
