HELENSBURGH'S Gordon Reid were honoured alongside the likes of Andy and Jamie Murray and Angelique Kerber at the 2017 ITF World Champions Dinner on Tuesday in Paris.

The World Champions Dinner celebrated the achievements of the 2016 ITF World Champions, with Reid in Paris preparing to start his French Open campaign on Thursday.

This year’s recipients were singles champions Andy Murray (GBR) and Angelique Kerber (GER); doubles champions Jamie Murray (GBR) and Bruno Soares (BRA), and Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic (FRA); junior champions Miomir Kecmanovic (SRB) and Anastasia Potapova (RUS); and wheelchair champions Gordon Reid (GBR) and Jiske Griffioen (NED).

The world champion nations of Davis Cup and Fed Cup by BNP Paribas, Argentina and Czech Republic, will be also be honoured.

Australian announcer Craig Willis will host the evening, with ITF President David Haggerty presenting the awards to the World Champions, and the distinctive trophies once again being designed by internationally-recognised sculptor Laurence Broderick.
