OPEN water swimming sessions are being held on Loch Lomond on Saturday, August 5.
The sessions are one-hour long and aimed at adults and juniors who can swim but have never taken on open water.
They are also for those who have experience in open water and would benefit from a little reminder, or a confidence boost.
A spokesperson said: “Why not come along and join like-minded swimmers and be taught by experienced coaches in the stunning surroundings of the National Park?”
The sessions will focus on: wetsuit advice, combating open water anxieties, acclimatisation and feel for the water and many other aspects.
Adult swimmers should be aged 16 years and over.
Junior swimmers must be aged 10 years by December 31 2017.
All swimmers must be capable of swimming 200 metres and wet-suits are compulsory.
