Helensburgh Netball Club are finding their feet as they begin the new season with two teams in the Glasgow Netball League.

The club's first team have had a strong start in Division Two after two early convincing wins against Scotstoun 3s (42-17) and Glasgow Caledonian 1st (40-23).

Having lost several players who moved away to go to university, the team continues to do well with experienced players, led by new coach Rebecca Gammon.

Player of the match Lou Mundie looks set to be a key player for the team.

The second team have taken a little longer to settle in this season, with players being tried in different positions, and have yet to register a win.

Lynne Bain has been in fine form, taking the Player of the Match title three times already this season, and is a driving force for the team from the centre position.

The first team comprises Nicola Sloan, Louise Mundie, Carly Park, Ilona Grieve, Yasmin Molloy, Jenny Paterson, Rebecca Gammon, Rhonda Philips and Katie Howell.

The second team line-up is Kirsty Eastman (capt), Kelly Mozley, Kate Addo, Louise Grafton, Lynne Bain, Rachel Moore, Merissa Collins, Brittany Walker and Justine Grundy.
