Ardencaple FC’s 2006 team would like to thank Babcock International for sponsoring their new strips for season 2018/19.

The team has started the new campaign well, beating local rivals Renton convincingly in their first match of the season and following that up a few days later with a comprehensive victory over Baljaffray.

Ardencaple, a well established football club in Helensburgh, are proud to give local boys the chance to play and train for competitive football –which was the reason the club was formed by John McGinley and Wallace Murdoch.

A community based football club who run teams from children born in 2013 to those born in 2002, Caple have also recently started an over 35s and an amateur team.

Anyone interested in playing for Ardencaple at any age should contact Euan Birss on 07954420778.

The club is especially keen to add players born in 2003, 2005 and 2006 to their existing squads.

Meanwhile, Ardencaple’s new senior amateur team completed their CSAFL League Cup group campaign with a 3-0 win over Greenock HSFP and a 7-0 reverse against St Patrick’s FP from Dumbarton. Caple were in league action at home to BSC Glasgow on Wednesday night, after this issue went to press.
