JUNIOR athletes from Helensburgh Amateur Athletics Club travelled to Grangemouth Stadium to take part in the second leg of the Youth Development League alongside fellow athletes from Clydesdale Harriers last Sunday.
Despite difficult weather conditions in the home straight the Helensburgh athletes produced some fantastic results on the Grangemouth track.
There was no fewer than 14 personal best performances achieved on the day for Helensburgh, some of these were by a considerable margin.
The results of this round have left the team in a mid-table fifth position with one more event due to be taking place, on Sunday, June 18 at Kilmarnock.
