Entries are now open for the Balloch to Clydebank Half Marathon, which has been rescheduled and is returning this year after a hiatus in 2017.
The event had originally been due to take place on Sunday, March 11, but will now take place on Sunday, March 25.
Organisers were forced to change the date to avoid other major sporting events and secure enough police resources to support the organisation of the event.
The race will start on Pier Road in Balloch, near the junction with Balloch Road and finishes in Seaforth Road Clydebank.
The course is mostly flat with minor inclines on the cycle path between Dumbarton Gateway Services and the Dunglass Roundabout and between Bowling and Old Kilpatrick.
This year’s race starts at 9am on March 25, and entry is £24 for SAL registered runners and £26 for others. No refunds will be offered in the event of a runner being unable to complete.
Entries close on March 15 or earlier if the race limit of 500 runners is reached. There will be no entries on the day. To sign up visit entrycentral.com/balloch-clydebank-half-marathon
