National team tour the town

A NATIONAL bowling team were given a handy lesson from a Burgh fitness guru.

The Scottish Women"s Indoor Bowling Association Under-25s international team made the trip to Helensburgh BC on Sunday.

There, the team - which includes Dumbarton star Michelle Keenan and managed by Helensburgh"s Annette Christie - met fitness instructor Rachel Temple.

Rachel is the instructor at Helensburgh Pool and Gym, and she gave the players an informative talk on fitness, nutrition and diet, before putting the players through a regime of exercises on an array of equipment.
