100 years at Rhu BC

Rhu Bowling Club held its centenary opening in style last month.

The 100th Opening Ceremony was blessed with brilliant sunshine as President Alan MacFadyen welcomed a number of dignitaries.

In attendance were: Ladies pic: Jean Erwin (SWBA), Mary Owens (DWBA), Jeanette Struth (WSWBA), Jeanette McKay (GWBA); mens pic - Eric Johnston (SJUP), Alex Campbell (DBA President), William Lauchlan (GBA President) and Jim McBride (HBC).

And to bring up the ton, 12-year-old Lauren Wilkes and 88-year-old Grace Brogan, right, joined forces.
