YOUNG Helensburgh BC bowler Keith Tait achieved the ultimate success in the club finals this year by winning all the competitions he entered, giving him an

astonishing record of winning the five competitions he entered.

It is a feat which is unequalled in the club and no doubt in most bowling clubs.

Keith's wins included, The Championship, Presidents Trophy, Handicap Trophy, Two Bowl Singles Trophy and the Pairs Trophy.

He won the Pairs competition alongside his Partner George Sneddon and in doing so created a club record which will be very difficult to surpass.

Annette Christie in the meantime was creating her own club record when she triumphed in five of the of the six finals she reached.

Annette won the Ladies Championship, the Lady Presidents Trophy and the Ladies Nominated Four and Two Bowl Pairs along with her partner Wilma Hannah. And she added her fifth trophy by winning the Mixed Pairs, with her partner Hugh Murray on Saturday night, another remarkable achievement from an excellent bowler who has achieved so much in the game for a number of years.
