A TALENTED young footballer received a birthday present to kickstart his dream.
Aidan Wilson turned 10 at the start of the month, then put pen to paper on a contract with Rangers FC.
The promising right back will now train three times a week at the SPL club"s Murray Park, making the most of the top facilities on offer.
Ever since he first started out aged five with Ardencaple under the watchful eye of coach Robert Holland, Aidan set his sights on becoming a professional.
Last Summer, he trained and played with his local club as well as Rangers, Celtic and Falkirk. Now old enough to sign for a club, the Hermitage pupil weighed up several offers before choosing the Ibrox side.
Aidan said: 'I decided to join Rangers because I know a lot of people there and I thought it would give me a good chance for the future."
