Rhu Ams 0 Bearsden Ams 4
RHU"S poor run continued on Saturday with probably their worst performance of the season.
With last week"s evenly matched away game against Bearsden fresh in their minds, Rhu went into the game with confidence.
But on the day they failed to produce.
Rhu started with the wind at their back on a very heavy pitch.
Bearsden were getting the ball forward early and their lively 9 was giving Rhu"s defence lots of problems.
Twice he broke through, but keeper Heron came to the rescue on both occasions.
Bearsden were having the best of the early exchanges and deservedly went ahead when their No 9 was left free after a corner and he thumped the ball home.
Rhu rallied for a while and Bearden"s keeper did well to save a Dougie Black free-kick, but Rhu were unable to create any other clear chances and the visitors held their lead to the break.
