Gers boss meets the Caple talent
RANGERS manager Walter Smith was the guest of honour as the talented players of Ardencaple picked up their awards last week.
Smith presented the prizes for: player of the year, players" player of the year and most improved player of the year to the different age levels at the club.
And the one-time Scotland boss will have likely suffered from writers" cramp with every player - and their parents - looking for a signed souvenir.
The club runs teams from mini kickers up to age 17, including an ever-growing number of girls teams. And there has been great success so far, with Aidan Wilson being snapped up by Rangers U11s, while the U14 team are gunning for a place in the SYFA Scottish Cup semi-finals.
A win on Sunday away to Aberdeen side Dyce would them to the final four.
Caple coaches wish to thank Hermitage Academy for the kind use of their stage on the night.
