High fliers undo Rhu
Glasgow Uni 7 Rhu Ams 1
AFTER last Saturday"s convincing win against Weirs Recreation, Rhu came down to earth with a bump against a Uni team firing on all cylinders.
Rhu started with the same 11 as last week with Paul Ross and Ballantyne joining Tadlock on the bench.
They had the first chance of the game but Dougie Black"s shot was comfortably saved by the home keeper.
The movement and pace of uni"s front two gave Rhu"s defence problems from the start and it was no surprise when they went ahead after 10 minutes.
Five minutes later, it was two as Rhu"s defence shouted in vain for offside.
Worse was to follow as the uni team turned the screw and grabbed another double. Rhu were shell-shocked, four down and it was only midway through the first half.
