THE Christian Aid Primary Schools Football tournament was held on Monday night in fine weather at Hermitage Academy.

Organised by Ardencaple Boys Club, the winning team for the second year running was Colgrain Primary, who defeated St Joseph"s in a penalty shoot-out after a no-score draw.

In the semi-finals, Colgrain beat Cardross - again in a penalty shoot-out - and St Joseph"s beat Hermitage Primary.

Christopher Dunn, from St Joseph"s, was named player of the tournament.
