Helensburgh goes goal crazy

CARDROSS defeated Rhu 3-2 in the thrilling final of the Martha Murdoch Cup this month at Hermitage Academy.

Cardross reached the final by knocking out Colgrain 4-2 and Rhu saw off Kilcreggan 2-0 in their semi-final. The Wallace Murdoch player of the tournament was Daniel Thomson of Rhu.

The Martha Murdoch Cup was donated by Ardencaple Boys Club in memory of Martha Murdoch, wife of Wallace Murdoch who co-founded Ardencaple BC.
