Prize night for the Burgh golfers

HELENSBURGH Golf Club"s annual prizegiving was held on Friday evening.

Captain Tom Griffiths was on hand to congratulate all the winners and the high numbers competing in the various competitions.

He also gave special mention to Tommy Sharkey - who won both the Junior and Club Championships in the same year - and to Lynn McCathie, who won the Ladies Championship for the 19th time.

The club thanks sponsors Allied Surveyors, Charles McCrae Ltd, DCF Joiners and Builders, McArthur Stanton, Helensburgh Floor Plan and RBS.

The prizes were presented by Stephanie Griffiths.
