HELENSBURGH golfer Gary Orr finished on one under-par in the KLM Dutch Open at the weekend. Orr couldn't keep up the momentum from his terrific first-round performance in the Dutch Open.
The 42 year-old produced a fine display in the KLM Open to record an impressive six-under 64 on Thursday.
He had an eagle and four birdies at the first round in Zandvoort to join Paul McGinley at the head of the field by a shot.
But Orr fell away from the leader board with a second round 73 for three-over par.
The golfer, who is currently ranked 139th, then scored two 71s on the third and fourth day to give him a total of 279. Englishman Simon Dyson won the competition for the second time in his career after coming out on top in a three-way play-off with Paul Lawrie and Peter Hedblom.
