A TEENAGE sensation is surely destined for greater things in the beautiful game after bagging a unique hat-trick.
Skilful Hermitage Academy pupil Michael Curley lived up to his name, by curling three corner kicks straight into the goal during a match against a rival team.
The 13-year-old, who was playing for Ardencaple Boys Club when he scored the outrageous goals, has now moved on to play for Celtic's Community Team to further his development.
So it might not be too long before the Cardross lad becomes a household name in footballing circles.
Michael's headteacher, Mr Urie, this week praised the young star's unbelievable achievement.
He told Sport Scene: "I was aware of the fantastic hat-trick which Michael had scored and everyone at the school is just delighted that he is doing well.
"I know there has been quite a bit of hype about this and I would be delighted if he could now repeat the fabulous feat whilst playing in a school game - which would be brilliant for us."
