In the Scotstoun tie Burgh started slowly and were 3-10 down in the first quarter, essential changes were made to both players and team tactics.

This enabled Helensburgh to dominate the second quarter and taking a 16-15 lead. With the defence keeping possession through some key interceptions and attacking players worked tirelessly around the shooting circle, enabling them to penetrate the oppositions defence.

Scotstoun showed signs of fatigue as Helensburgh put on fresh legs in the third quarter, taking the score to 20-20.

The whole team continued to demonstrate great enthusiasm, teamwork and high levels of energy, finishing the match 33-21. All players performed well, with Annie Muggoch nominated by the opposition as player of the match.

In the tie against Kelvin two, there was some great play in the second and third quarters and the defence team of Rebecca Gammon and Laura Homeyard did a fantastic job with Laura picking up player of the match this time round.
