On behalf of myself at KAY Consultancy and Vivien Dance, we would sincerely like to thank you all for the Sponsorship you provided for our Helensburgh Window Competition 2013 : ‘Dress to Impress’. Thanks to your generous sponsorship, we were able to raise awareness among Retailers who were enthusiastic about the importance of dressing their windows for Christmas. Between the Retailers’ competitive spirit and the public votes, it’s been a huge success and one that I know will grow year after year.

We deeply appreciate the willingness with which you have sponsored our efforts in making our town a more festive and jolly place to shop in. We hope that this association will be maintained and that you will continue to support us in the future.

My thanks go to : Vivien Dance for the concept and for inviting me to organise the event!

To Brian Murrie, Manager of Waitrose for the lovely hampers. Thanks Brian for coming along to the Awards Night and lending your support. Much appreciated.

To Scott Elliot of Filter Retail Displays for the time he took redesigning ‘Crystal Mays’ window. What a wonderful ‘before’ and ‘after’ window and Jean is just over the moon with the new look. Thanks Scott.

To Admin Design for the printing of the many posters which were used to encourage voters. A huge thanks to Graeme and Phil.

Our thanks to the Helensburgh Advertiser for free editorial, highlighting the event and ensuring that wherever possible 'Dress to Impress' was visible within the Advertiser and within 'Talk Shop' magazine.

To SoS Shoe Repairs for engraving such a wonderful trophy, and to Friends of Victoria Halls for the actual trophy and the framed certificates.

Thanks also to Kath @ Stowaway for counting the votes, and for the donation of prizes for the customers who did vote. A massive thanks to the Retailers who took part. What an amazing achievement. So many people are talking about the ‘new look’ Helensburgh. In such tough times, our town looks interesting, festive and above all, cared for. It’s just another move in the right direction.

And last but not least, our thanks to Gerard for hosting the Awards Night. Fantastic ‘bubbly’ and it was a great start to the week.

Our congratulations to Helensburgh Toyota who claimed 'Gold' in 'Dress to Impress' competition. The Hermitage art students who designed their window features certainly deserved the recognition. Jade who owns Franny Belle claimed 'Silver' prize and what a beautiful window she designed herself. Congratulations to Fiona of New World Yacht Care, Rhu for achieving 'Bronze' status. Well done everyone. To all involved in this project. Have a wonderful Christmas and best wishes for a prosperous New Year.
