WRIGHT - Rev. Malcolm. Catherine and family would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming respect shown to Malcolm on his final journey. It is humbling to know that he had in some way touched the lives of so many people. It was an emotional journey for us to see so many people along the route from Craigrownie Parish Church around the entire length of the peninsula, including St Modan's Parish Church in Rosneath, through Garelochhead and Rhu and on to a large gathering in Colquhoun Square, Helensburgh. We know that Malcolm would have felt blessed by the love shown by you all. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Jim Auld, a true friend to Malcolm and the family for many years, for his professional but also very personal care. We also feel deep gratitude to the Rev. Ian Miller for conducting a very moving ceremony at Cardross Crematorium. Thank you also to the many people who have sent cards and flowers in recent days. Your kind thoughts and wishes are much appreciated.
