LOMOND School in Helensburgh is preparing to bring science to life at a free family event tonight.

Surprising experiments, shocking facts and the odd explosion can be expected with hands-on experiments.

The show, run by The Royal Institution, provides a whistle-stop tour of some of the institution’s greatest scientific discoveries while introducing interesting science facts through fun, interactive and exciting demonstrations.

The event on Thursday, February 22, is at 6.30pm. Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
