MACPHERSON - William (Bill) Baird Peacefully after a short illness at Vale of Leven Hospital on Sunday 14th January 2024, aged 102. Devoted husband to Muriel (née Cumming), loving dad to Fiona, father-in-law to Ray, and Papa to Michael and Robert. Funeral service to be held at Cardross Crematorium on Saturday 27th January at 10.30am, followed by a celebration of his life at Rosslea Hall Hotel, Rhu, to which all friends and relatives are invited. In due course, Bills ashes will be taken to Orkney, where they will be interred in Muriel's resting place at St Olaf's Cemetery, Kirkwall (further notice will be given). A wonderful man who will be sorely missed. Family flowers only, but donations may be given on the day or online to Parkinson's UK.
