Charity worker, Georgie Duncan MBE, who organises the Beanfeast café at Dumbarton Sheriff Court, called in Depute Sheriff Clerk Neil Christie to do the honours and hand over £5,000 each to Emily Dixon, depute head of Kilpatrick School, and CHAS fund-raiser Scott Maxwell.
The Beanfeast charity receives support from the Sheriffs, Simon Pender and the recently retired Simon Fraser and Bill Dunlop.
Newly appointed sheriffs Craig Turnbull and John Halley were at the handover with Sheriff Paul Reid.
