A ROSNEATH teenager has appeared in court and denied punching and kicking a 16-year-old girl on the head.
Fraser Smith, 18, pleaded not guilty to three charges when he appeared in the dock from custody at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
It is alleged that in St Moden's Way in the village on April 23 he seized hold of her by the body, pulled her to the ground and repeatedly punched and kicked her on the head and body.
It is also alleged that at Ferry Road in Rosneath on the same day he seized hold of her by the body, pulled her to her feet and then threw her to the ground and then pulled her along the ground to her injury. A third charge also alleges, that while in Ferry Road, he caused her fear and alarm by shouting and swearing at her and acting in an aggressive manner towards her.
Sheriff Maxwell Hendry set a trial date for June 17 and granted Smith bail.
