ARGYLL and Bute Council has been asked to grant planning permission and listed building consent for works at the former Riverbank restaurant on Helensburgh's seafront.
Applicants Milan and Cara Nikolic, trading as M and C Italy Limited, have asked the authority for the green light to carry out internal refurbishments, including the upgrading of the kitchen area and formation of a new dining area, and the installation of a new front.
Stripping out of the premises at 41 West Clyde Street began earlier this month.
The application documents can be viewed by searching the council's website using the application codes 17/00545/PP (for planning permission) and 17/00543/LIB (for listed building consent).
The application will be determined in due course by the council's planning officers.
