HELENSBURGH residents will be able to get information and advice on housing issues at a surgery event in the town next week.

The event, hosted by Argyll and Bute Council in partnership with Helensburgh Community Council, takes place at the Victoria Halls on Thursday, February 15.

There are two sessions, the first from 2-4pm and the second from 6-8pm.

The council’s policy lead for housing, Councillor Robin Currie said: “This drop in event is a great way for people to get information and advice on a wide variety of housing issues.

“Whether they want to find out how to apply for a house, want to know which grants are available or want to discuss the condition of their existing property, there will be someone on hand who will be more than happy to help.

“It’s important that events like these take place in our communities to ensure that people are given the opportunity to raise any issues they may have and to find out ways that we can help them”.

No advance appointments are necessary – just drop in and ask for the information you need.
