AN ARGYLL folk band are set to take to the stage in Arrochar this weekend.

Heron Valley, who formed while still at school, will visit the Three Villages Hall on a Highland tour also calling at Tarbert, Dalmally and Fort William.

The group includes Alex Mackechnie on fiddle, accordion and guitar, Nick Hamilton on drums and banjo, Abigail Pryde on vocals and guitar, Euan McNab on bagpipes, whistles and guitar, Arlene Mackechnie on piano, and Callum Cronin on bass guitar.

They will play material from their debut album Roam, along with some new material.

The band’s busy 2018 schedule already includes dates at the music festivals in Tarbert in Argyll and on the island of Jura, so don’t miss this chance to catch them up close.

The band, supported by another Argyll band, Rhuvaal, from Campbeltown, will take to the stage in the Three Villages Hall, Arrochar on Saturday, March 10 at 8.30pm.
